World of Coffee Bangkok 2026 was an important moment for BEFOOD. As a Gold Sponsor, we were proud to support one of the specialty coffee industry’s key international events and connect with coffee professionals from across Asia and beyond.

Held from May 7 to May 9 at BITEC in Bangkok, the event is part of the global World of Coffee platform owned by the Specialty Coffee Association and organized locally by Exporum. It brings together producers, roasters, baristas, manufacturers, and buyers, making it an important meeting point for new products, practical coffee innovation, and international business connections.

A big part of our presence in Bangkok was our collaboration with The Miners, the Prague-born specialty coffee brand and roastery, now grown into a wider European coffee shop chain with more than 30 locations across Europe. Together, we introduced visitors to drinks that showed MILBOK in a practical, coffee-focused way, including Dirty Coffee and Flat Double White.

For these drinks, The Miners prepared and brought Ethiopia Mohammed Aba Nura to the booth, an espresso roast coffee with a natural process profile and notes of lotus, stone fruits, and milk oolong. This coffee gave the drinks an expressive and layered base, with floral detail, ripe fruit character, and enough structure to stay present in milk-based service.

That was especially important in Dirty Coffee, where the espresso needs to cut clearly through the cold, creamy milk and stay vivid from the first sip. In this format, the espresso shows more contrast, so its fruit, aroma, and intensity need to remain clear rather than getting lost behind the milk. MILBOK Double Milk supports this by bringing smooth texture and clean sweetness without flattening the espresso, allowing the coffee’s brighter and more aromatic notes to stay visible in the cup.

In Flat Double White, the espresso behaves differently. It integrates more fully into the milk, creating a rounder and more unified flavor profile where balance is essential. Here, the espresso should not disappear, but soften into the drink while still carrying its character through the finish. MILBOK Double Milk helps by supporting body, sweetness, and a creamy mouthfeel, while giving the espresso enough space to remain recognizable and well-defined.

In both drinks, MILBOK Double Milk helped complement and open up the espresso profile rather than covering it. This allowed the floral and fruit-driven character of Ethiopia Mohammed Aba Nura to remain clear, while delivering the smooth, balanced, and consistent cup expected from modern specialty milk drinks.

Bangkok was also a valuable opportunity to show how MILBOK performs in real specialty coffee service, from signature beverages to everyday menu applications. Events like World of Coffee Bangkok continue to confirm that the market is looking for milk solutions that respect coffee quality, support bar workflow, and improve the customer experience.
