MILBOK at World of Coffee Jakarta 2025

July 6, 2025

In May 2025, MILBOK took part in World of Coffee Jakarta, one of the most important global events in the specialty coffee calendar — and our first major showcase in Southeast Asia.

Organized by the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA), World of Coffee brings together the entire coffee supply chain: producers, roasters, baristas, café owners, equipment makers, and passionate consumers. This year’s edition, held from May 15–17 at the Jakarta International Convention Center (JICC), marked two historic firsts:

  • The first World of Coffee held in a coffee-producing country
  • The second time the event was hosted in Asia, following Busan 2024

Indonesia, the fourth-largest coffee producer in the world, proved to be the perfect setting — showcasing its rich heritage from Sumatra, Java, and Sulawesi, while welcoming global innovators and brands to join the conversation.

Why It Mattered for MILBOK

For MILBOK, this event marked more than international visibility — it was our debut on a truly global stage.

We introduced our product to a new audience with a clear message:
No Additives. Just better milk for coffee.

We met thousands of roasters, baristas, café owners, and importers — many of whom were trying MILBOK for the very first time. The reaction? Curiosity turned into interest, and interest turned into serious conversation. People wanted to understand what makes MILBOK different:

  • Why it tastes naturally sweet
  • Why it steams so well
  • Why it lets espresso shine instead of masking it

It was a moment of real connection — with professionals who care about ingredients, flavor, and transparency.

Highlights from Jakarta

  • ☕ Over 15,000 attendees from 70+ countries
  • 🌍 400+ global brands showcasing products and innovations
  • 🔥 The World Brewers Cup 2025, with competitors pushing the limits of manual brewing
  • 🧑‍🌾 Producer Village, where Indonesian farmers connected directly with buyers and baristas
  • 📚 SCA lectures, workshops, and cuppings covering every aspect of the coffee value chain
